Melissa Brauen of Melissa Brauen Art does not sell or share any information collected via her website, newsletter, or other any other mode of media UNLESS express permission is given to do so and only in the form of praise or a testimonial. 

Reviews & Testimonials: If you so choose to provide testimony to Melissa Brauen’s products or service it will be done using your written permission with very specific instructions from you on how it will be used. Melissa Brauen’s website offers an opportunity for buyers to write reviews on products and that is done by the buyer only.  At that time it will be made public.

Newsletter Sign Up Form: Melissa Brauen’s ‘Art Matters’ only collects your name and email address in a newsletter sign up form through the platform MailChimp.   You may unsubscribe at any time if you are not in agreement with any policies related to Melissa Brauen or MailChimp 

Website – Purchase & Processing: The entire website mellisbrauen.com is protected by Secure Socket Layer (SSL)  through my host, Site Ground.  (Look for the little lock before the url in your browser. Chrome will flag a site not protected) Melissa Brauen collects your name and address in order to ship your item(s) to you. However, the actual purchase (submission of financial information) takes place through PayPal only (you do not have to have a PayPal account) PayPal has their own privacy and security polices in place. Melissa Brauen NEVER SEES NOR STORES ANY FINANCIAL INFORMATION via the internet. 

Minors: Melissa Brauen does not knowingly engage in information gathering or commerce with children under the age of 18. 

How Your Information is Used by Melissa Brauen: To process and ship orders. To send email news via opt in by you, the user, only. By WordPress to recall log in information and maintain cart items for processing (see ‘Cookies” section below) To remove cookies, adjust your web browser settings.  You may at any time update your subscription, unsubscribe, remove information or revoke permission. When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
